Cited Publications
Ranking of publications is an active field. I’m especially interested in how influential a given publication is, for that gives me a reasonable guess of what practitioners of a field probably know. ScimagoJR looks informative.
The h-index is defined as the maximum value of \(h\) such that the given author/journal has published at least \(h\) papers that have each been cited at least \(h\) times.
Some folks compile best paper awards, e.g. Jeff Huang for Computer Science papers . The papers-we-love/papers-we-love repo has a bunch of papers, and links to other good places to find papers, including Jeff Huang’s site.
